Hilary Thompson

I grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and moved to Hampstead, NC in 2001 where I went to Topsail High school.  In 2008, I went to Barton College where I played soccer for 4 years and graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  I taught kindergarten in Craven County my first year of teaching.  After my first year of teaching, I transferred to Northwoods Elementary and taught kindergarten for three years. I came to Dixon Elementary in 2016 and have taught first grade ever since.  I am super excited to be in the classroom and have your in my class this year!  I currently reside in Sneads Ferry with my husband, our 7 year old, 6 year old and 8 month old daughters, Layla, Lily, & Lilah. I have 2 dogs, Lizzy & Ziggy, and a cat, Molly. When I am not at school, we love spending time with our family on the boat/beach or in my husband's shellfish farm.
