Curtis Locke, MSgt, USAF, RETIRED

Master Sergeant Curtis Locke is the Aerospace Science Instructor for Northside Highschool AFJROTC Cadet Citizenship Program.  He is responsiable for the recruitment, training and education of over 120 Active and Reserve Cadet Corps Students enrolled in the JROTC Program.  Prior to this assignment, Master Sergeant Locke served honorably for 20 years, retiring from the U.S. Air Force in March of 2020.  Sergeant Locke's final assignment was First Sergeant, Jeanne M. Holm Center for Officer Accessions and Citizen Development, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. As the Air Force’s largest officer accession source, Master Sergeant Locke supported more than 3,300 Airmen, training 120,000 cadets at 2,085 global locations. His support role for the command included 15,000 cadets at 1,200 colleges and universities nationwide for Air Force ROTC, 3,500 cadets in Air Force Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, and more than 101,000 cadets in 885 high schools globally supporting Air Force Junior ROTC. The Holm Center produces more than 85% of the Air Force’s front line officers, chaplains, judge advocates and medical officers annually.

Sergeant Locke continues his dedication to the Air Force, receiving Certification by both the Air Force and the State of North Carolina to Instruct AFJROTC.  Sergeant Locke holds multiple degrees an various dicipliines to include AAS Human Resources, BS Criminal Justice, MS Management.
