• Day 1

    Reading: 

    Listen to The Parts of a Book song.  Grab your favorite book and show your family the different parts of the book.

     

    Phonics:

    Go to StarFall and click on 10 letters and watch the little video.  Notice the uppercase and lowercase letters.

     

    Math: 

    Gather 10 items (legos, popsicle sticks, spoons, etc). Use the Number Spinner game and show the number that the wheel lands on using your objects.

     

    Social Studies:

    Tell your parents about your school tools and what you do with them. 

     

    Day 2

    Reading:

    Listen to Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten.

    Did you hear any words that sounded the same?  Talk to your parents about what rhyming words are.

     

    Phonics:

    Go to StarFall and click on 10 NEW letters and watch the little video.  Notice the uppercase and lowercase letters.

     

    Math:

    Complete Math Countdown to Health!

    10 jumping jacks

    9 squats

    8 toe touches

    7 hops

    6 claps

    5 stomps

    4 high knees

    3 spins

    2 star jumps

    1 high five to mom or dad

     

    Social Studies:

    Listen to Go David.  Draw a picture of how you can be a bucket filler in school.
