Mrs. Tiffany Huie

Hello! I am so excited to be back home at Dixon High School as a Career Development Coordinator (Career Counselor!) within the Career and Technical Education Department! I graduated from Dixon High in 2006 and continued my education at UNC-Chapel Hill from 2006 - 2010. I am a die-hard, born and bred Tarheel through and through and you will find me often sporting my Carolina Blue during basketball season! After graduation from UNC-Chapel Hill I attended graduate school at East Carolina University from 2011 - 2013 and graduated from ECU with a Masters in Counselor Education with a focus in School Counseling. In August 2012 I was hired as a School Counselor at Swansboro Middle School where I was a pirate for six years until the end of the 2017-2018 school year. In June of 2018 I switched roles into that of Career Development Coordinator and now provide resources and career support to both Dixon High School and Dixon Middle School. Even during my years as a school counselor, I always felt that career development was so important to our students and now as a CDC it is something I get to focus on everyday! If you have any questions regarding future options, career paths, job shadowing, internships, work-based learning, or any other career related topics, I'm more than excited to talk with you about any of those topics! I am blessed to call Onslow County home with my husband, Chris, who also graduated from Dixon, and our three fur-babies (cats), Keke, Little, and Bell. You can also find me involved in all things volleyball as the Assistant Coach for the JV and Varsity teams at the high school, Assistant Coach for the middle school team, and a local club coach!
