Please note that all the information on this Flow Chart is accurate, there is just one major change regarding if a student has been exposed to a positive household member that is not reflected on the chart. Per NCDHHS-StrongSchoolsNC Toolkit (pg. 10) if a person is a household member (e .g . a sibling) of someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19, their Quarantine begins at the end of a 10-day isolation of the person with COVID-19. Meaning the student will be quarantined for longer than 14 days. It is 24 days for most situations. Again, this is per the State guidelines for school.

The holiday season will be here soon and while it is a joyous time it can be a challenging time for many families. If you would like to request assistance for your family, there are two options:  

Christmas Cheer applications will be taken at 1210 Hargett St., Jacksonville, NC. November 16^th – 20^th from 2 – 5 pm. Please call 910-347-HoHo (347-4646) or go to www.onslowco.org for more information. 

To apply with Caring Community Christmas (C3) please contact Katie Rogers, School Social Worker at 910-388-5480 or email at katie.rogers@onslow.k12.nc.us by Wednesday November 18^th to request an application, they must be turned in by Tuesday November24^th. C3 applicant information will be shared with Christmas Cheer to ensure we are able to spread the joy of the season to as many families as possible this holiday.
