I grew up in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and minored in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University in 2012. After meeting my (now) husband through friends, I decided to move to North Carolina. Once in North Carolina, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in Elementary Education. That is when I went to UNCW and received a Master of Arts in Elementary Education in December 2017. I am a step-mom to Benji who is in Second Grade this year, and fur-mom to a Corgi named Dixie, a Bichon-Corgi mix named Lexi, and a Golden Lab named Rex. I am excited to begin my fifth year as a teacher at JCES and look forward to the year to come.
