3-5 Grade

For the week of September 16, 2020 let's practice our drawing skills by drawing our favorite literary characters.  Draw your favorite character from a book or you can click on the link and draw Harry Potter using this step by step instruction sheet.

4th and 5th graders let's practice drawing animae eyes.  I've seen you draw some animae in your own work, but here are a variety of eyes used in animae that you can learn from and expand your skill.  

For the week of September 9, 2020, let's practice drawing faces!  Open the link and try to draw at least three of the faces that you see. Drawing a picture of a person is called a portrait.  When we draw pictures of ourselves they are called self portraits.  The art principle of proportion tells us where and what size we should draw things according to the size of the oval we draw as the head.
