Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Dolly Grosskopf

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl and used to play "school" on my front porch.  I started my college education in computer science at Slippery Rock University in PA because that was that was the wave, but couldn't suppress my desire to teach, so I changed my major to education.  That was the best decision.  I love teaching and helping students achieve their goals.

I was brought to Onslow County when my husband served in the USMC in 1987.  I was a first grade teacher at Bell Fork Elementary.  During that time I attained my Master's degree in Elementary Education from ECU and continued my education by getting another Master's in Libary Science from ECU and worked as a media coordinator at Richlands Elementary, Parkwood Elementary and Northside High School where I worked until I retired in 2017 after 31 years of teaching.

I have raised my children, Eleni and Kip, here and they attended Onslow County Schools.  My daughter is a White Oak graduate and my son is a Northside graduate.

I am now a part-time lead teacher who works with beginning and International teachers.  I am excited to be a part of the Northside High School team.
