Mr. Kissick

I was born in Cherry Point, North Carolina. I moved to Norway, Maine in the first grade and remained there until my junior year of high school. I then moved to Swansboro, North Carolina, where I graduated from high school. After graduation, I received a Bachelor's of Arts in English and Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. During college, I worked at Laney High School for three years as a teachers' assistant with the America Counts program. I then taught English I, I Honors,English II, II Honors,English III, III Honors,English IV IV Honors, Curriculum Assistance, Avid IV, Avid III, and A.P. Lang. at Dixon High School over the course of ten years. After my time at Dixon, I worked at New Bridge Middle School for two years, teaching 8th grade Language Arts Regular and A.I.G. I also taught English I while at New Bridge. I then went to White Oak high school for six years. During my tenure there at White Oak, I  had the pleasure of teaching Eng II, II Honors, Eng III, III Honors, A.P. Language, Composition, English IV, IV Honors, A.P. Literature and Composition, Avid III and Avid IV.  This, my nineteenth year of teaching I return to Dixon where I will again be teaching Eng. II, Eng. III and Eng. III Honors.
