Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Onslow Virtual School!  I have worked in the classroom since 2000.  I was a teaching assistant for 3 years before becoming a teacher.   I received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from UNCW.  Go Seahawks!  I have taught kindergarten,  second, third, and fourth grades.  This is my seventeenth year teaching, and my fifteenth year with Onslow County Schools.  This will be my sixth year teaching kindergarten. 

I was born and raised in southern New Jersey, right outside Philadelphia.  I came to North Carolina in 1996, and to Jacksonville in 2000.  My husband, also a teacher with OVS, and I have two daughters.  Violet is a sixth grader, and Eve is a first grader.   We couldn't imagine working and raising a family anywhere else!
