Welcome to 5th Grade!

I am excited to be your teacher this year.  I have taught for 8 years, and this will be my second year at Queens Creek Elementary.

I am a military spouse and a mother of two beautiful children. I have a toy poodle that is 12 years old.  I grew up in the foothills of North Carolina.  I love all things Disney and the beach.

I graduated from Appalachian State University in December of 2010.  I moved to Oklahoma, where my husband was stationed for a year.  When we returned to North Carolina, I taught at Richlands Elementary School for a year.  We decided to return home to be closer to our families, and I accepted a job in Caldwell County, NC where I taught for 6 years.  I took a year off to be with my family and for self care.  Now, I returned to Onslow County in 2020.  I look forward to a new, but exciting year!
