Mr. Patrick Fechter

Hey Everyone! This is my fourth year as a school counselor here at JCMS! I also coach boys' and girls' soccer and boys' basketball here at the Commons. I was born in Greenville, NC and attended high school at South Central High. I went on to play college soccer at Ferrum College before transferring to attend UNC Wilmington where I received my undergraduate degree in Parks & Recreation Management. I spent 6 years working in youth programming and athletics and found out my passion was advocating and supporting children in all areas of their lives. I went on to pursue my Master's of Education (MEd) in School Counseling through Salem College. Prior to coming to JCMS, I was a high school counselor for a year at Hoggard High School in Wilmington. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, cooking, traveling, and hiking. If I can be of any help, please don't hesitate to reach out.
