Hello! Welcome to second grade!

Just a little about myself...

I have been a teacher for 18 years. I’ve taught first, second, and fourth grades in Harnett, Pender, and Onslow Counties. I have been teaching in Onslow County for 11 years now. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg College, in Ohio, in 2006. I then moved to North Carolina to start my teaching career. My husband and I moved to Jacksonville and purchased our first home in 2013, and started our family in 2014. We now have 2 beautiful daughters, ages 7 years and 9 years, who are our entire world and keep us busy!

As you will quickly learn, I am a complete and total comic nerd. Star Wars and Pokemon are my favorites! My husband and I love to spend our free time Geocaching or playing Pokemon Go, and are quickly introducing our daughters to these things.
