Mr. George Miller

Originally from New Jersey, Mr. Miller attended the US Naval Academy where he majored in Political Science and was a varsity wrestler. 

Upon graduation he was commissioned as a Marine Infantry Officer in which capacity he served for 10 years. 

Upon his separation from service, Mr Miller, is wife and three children made their home in central Florida where he passed his state boards and became a Certified Building Contractor.  In 2007, the building industry was in rapid decline so he found opportunities working in support of NATO and allied forces in Afghanistan where he stayed for 3 years.  During this time, Mr. Miller achieved his international certifciation as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. 

Upon returing in 2010 George and his wife moved to Swansboro where he was a self employed project manger for various initiatives in support of the Marine Corps and the community. 

Completing his Master's Degree in Teaching in 2019, Mr. Miller joined the team at Northside High School during that fall and now teaches a variety of high school math courses
