I am originally from Fuquay-Varina, however all other members of my family are Jacksonville natives.  I come from a long line of educators and coaches, so teaching literally is in my blood.  I graduated from East Carolina University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education.  This is my 9th year of teaching (the first 5 years were in Special Education!) and my 2nd year at Trexler.

I am so excited to be back in school - even if it is completely different - because I thrive off of my students' energy.  Remote Learning and face-to-face instruction might be foreign concepts now, but together we can do this!
