Mrs. Cathy Dalimonte

I am excited to be Sand Ridge's Assistant Principal for the 23-24 school year! I am starting my 33rd year as an educator and 10th year as an administrator. For the past five years, I was the Assistant Principal at Carolina Forest International Elementary and for four years before that was Queen Creek Elementary's Assistant Principal.  It is great to be back in this community where I witnessed the strength of togetherness after Hurricane Florence. 

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and my two Masters of Art degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Administration from the University of Phoenix. I am also certified in Reading K-12. 

I have been happily married to a wonderful husband for the past 35 years, and we have one daughter, who graduated from NC State and was selected for a two-year internship at Walt Disney World after graduating. Disney World is a perfect comparison to how I felt when stepping onto the Sand Ridge campus, as the culture makes you feel it is the happiest place on Earth.
