Mrs. Jennifer Joy

Greetings! My name is Jennifer Joy and I am excited to be Clyde Erwin's School Librarian. I was born in Wyoming, a beautiful state that will always hold a portion of my heart.  But, life had a different plan and I ended up finishing high school in Arizona where I met my future husband, Chris.  He joined the Marines, we were married, and I began the crazy, wonderful life of a military spouse.  THe military has moved us to many places in our 28 years: Oceanside,CA, Jacksonville, NC (many times), Billings, MT, Iwakuni, Japan, Okinawa, Japan, and Fort Leonard Wood, MO.  Our daughter was born, while on recruiting, in Montana and she now attends one of my alma maters, UNCW.  My hobbies include: photography, reading, watching, my daughter run collegiately, and traveling.  I started my teaching career right here in Jacksonville in 1999 teaching second grade and now I am beginning my dream position of school librarian.  Let's rock this new school year.
