Welcome to Northwoods Park Middle School!!! 

Dolphin Families!!!! 

The summer is flying by and August 28 we will be here before we know it!!   I was born in Jacksonville but my father was military so we moved around quite a bit.  We settled back in Jacksonville after my dad retired, I attended Northwoods Park Middle school and graduated from Jacksonville High School.  I attended East Carolina University and immediately started teaching in Edgecombe County after graduating in 2004.  After 3 years of teaching in Rocky Mount, I returned to Jacksonville and taught 4th and 5th grade at Clyde Erwin Elementary School for 9 years.  In 2016, I became the Assistant Principal at Northwoods Park Middle School.  I was named the principal of Blue Creek Elementary for the 2021-2022 school year and served in that role for 2 years.  I am excited to come back to the Park and serve as the Principal!

I believe that ALL students can learn.  Building strong relationships with students and families is imperative to success!! I am honored to continue to serve the Dolphin students, community, families, and staff as the principal.  Effective communication is also essential, throughout the year our website and Facebook pages will be updated.  I will send out a weekly Sunday message along with a Parent Dolphin Bulletin to ensure that you are connected with upcoming events and happenings throughout our school.  Together we will Inquire. Lead. Serve as we strive toward EXCELLENCE in Education.
