Dr. Lisa Peele
Dr. Lisa I. Peele has served North Carolina public education since 1999. Her roles include: teaching(3-8), school administration (K-12), and district leadership. She currently serves as the Interim Principal of SWES and is also the Director of Cultural Arts and Global Leadership in the Onslow Country School District.
In 2017-2018, Dr. Peele was recognized by the North Carolina Art Education Association as the North Carolina Arts Education Arts Administator of the Year. She maintains partnerships with local performing arts education and global organizations and companies, along with other community organizations. She has a passion for education and is truly a lifelong learner. Dr. Peele's educational background includes a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of School Administration degree from East Carolina University. She received her Doctor of Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a focus on education administration.
