  • Morning Drop-off Changes After Spring Break

    Due to changes after spring break and all students returning to school 5 days a week starting on April 6th, the morning drop-off procedure has changed.  Starting March 22nd temperatures and COVID Screening questions will no longer be done in the commuter lot.  Drop off starts at 6:45am, the students may exit their cars and head to their homeroom teacher’s classroom where they will be asked the COVID Screening questions and have their temperatures checked.  We ask that when dropping off your student(s) please pull all the way up in the commuter lot allowing as many cars as possible to drop off their student(s).  If it is past 7:15am we ask that the student(s) are dropped off at the front office to check in.

    Pick up times will remain the same and a staggered dismissal will continue to take place.  6th grade will be dismissed at 2:05, followed by 8th grade at 2:10 & finally 7th grade at 2:15.  All students who are walking to cars that are parked will be crossing in one designated location to ensure their safety.  We ask that as you are picking up your students you pull all the way up in the car line and allow your student(s) to walk to the car.   Thank you!

  • Volleyball, Baseball and Track to be played this year!

    An opportunity for students to participate in middle school sports has returned for the remainder of this school year.  Due to time, 3 sports have been selected:  Volleyball, Baseball, and Girls/Boys Track.

    Tryouts for Volleyball and Baseball will begin March 15th.  Track tryouts will start April 19th.  Students must have an updated physical and completed eligibility packet on file in order to participate in tryouts.  Signup sheets and packets of the required paperwork will be available at the front office beginning Tuesday, March 2nd.

    Students Must also meet the academic and attendance requirements. Parents and Students must attend the Required Parent Athletic Meeting that reviews MRSA and Concussion protocol prior to tryouts.  These meetings will be held via Teams and the Dates  will be announced this week and posted on the school website. More details and information about the return to athletics will be sent home with students this week and will also be posted on the Trexler website and Facebook page.
