Ms. Jenifer Williams

Hello! I graduated from UNCW in 2010 with a degree in Physical Education and Health with a concentration in Community Health.  I  became certified in Family and Consumer Science (FCS) in September 2012 and spent the past 11 years teaching at Dixon High School. I also coached cross country and track and field while I was at Dixon as well.  

I started graduate school at ECU in the counselor education program in the summer of 2022 and have been fortunate enough to be hired here at JCMS as your new school counselor!  I am very excited about starting the next chapter of my educational career here at Jacksonville Commons Middle.  

I love watching Packers football games as well as the University of Tennessee football games (go Vols!). 

I am passionate about helping students become their best selves.  I truly believe that we never stop growing and learning. I am committed to helping create a positive learning experience for all students while attending JCMS. 

I can help by:

*giving classroom lessons on social and emotional well-being

*give students coping strategies for dealing with stress and anxiety in their daily lives

* teaching students to build and maintain positive relationships with peers through conflict resolution and mediation

*offer community referrals for additional assistance
