Education -Southwest High School graduate 2005 -Associates of Arts- Coastal Carolina Community College 2009 -Bachelors of Elementary Education UNCW 2011 -Certificate of Elementary Mathematics 2021 Experience I have taught 4th grade, here in Onslow County for the past 11 years. This will be my 7th year at Summersill. Before that, I taught at Northwoods Elementary for 5 years. Prior to teaching, I worked as a Teacher Assistant for 3 years. Summersill is the best and I am so very happy and proud to be a part of this school family!! Let's Soar Eagles!!!

About Me
I was born up north in Rhode Island. However, I have lived here in Jacksonville, North Carolina for the past 22 years and consider it my home. I attended high school locally at Southwest High, during which I decided to pursue teaching. I am married and have three children. My son is 17 and going into his junior year at Jacksonville High School. I have two daughters, the oldest you will probably see quite often, as she will be here at Summersill in first grade this year, and my youngest just turned two! When I am not at work I enjoy spending my time with family, cooking new recipes, shopping, watching movies, swimming, camping, and living this beautiful life. I am so excited about this school year beginning! I cannot wait to be a part of your child's education this year!
