Hello! Welcome to 1st Grade! My name is Elynne West and this is my first year teaching 1st grade at Coastal Elementary! I've been at Coastal since we moved here in 2022. I am originally from Kansas and I graduated with a bachelor's degree from Southwestern College in 2011. My husband and I have been married since 2011 and we now have two wonderful daughters, ages 7 and 10! We are a military family and have moved around to several different places, including Iwakuni, Japan! My family and I enjoy camping, hiking, and boating during the summer and we love traveling to new places.
