Experience: 

Being raised by a special education teacher, special education has always been a part of my life and my dream carear. I began working as a teacher's assistant in Fairfax County Virginia for two years while I worked towards my masters degree. I then taught in a self contained general education classroom for a year before following my heart back to working with students who access the adapted currciulum. I taught for two years in the mild-moderate intellectual disability program in Fairfax County Virginia.

Bio:

I was born in England in raised in the DC area. I recently moved to Carteret County. In my free time I enjoy kayaking, reading, spending time on the beach, hiking, and spending time with my two dogs. I'm excited to be working at JCE and helping my students learn and grow.
