Lindsey Millice

Art is a place for children to learn to trust their ideas, expand their creativity, and express themselves.  In the art room, students will work with a variety of materials that range from drawing, to painting, to ceramics.  They will also be introduced to different methods, techniques, and tools used to create art.  We will explore the world of art and look at artists throughout history and their work as we develop our own skills in the art room.

I graduated from East Carolina University with my Bachelors and Masters Degree in Art Education. This is my ninth year teaching elementary art and I believe that, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world". I love art and I love teaching. I am really happy to start my second year at Summersill Elementary.
