Stephanie Lawrence

     Hello students and families! Welcome to 1st grade! This is my second year teaching at Coastal Elementary School, and I am very excited to be a part of this amazing school community!

      I moved to North Carolina a little less than three years ago.  While here, I taught 2nd grade in Jacksonville.  Prior to moving to NC, I lived and worked for D.C. Public Schools for 6 years.  I have been in the educational field for 18 years and throughout my career I have been a teacher in grades K, 1st, 2nd & 4th, an instructional coach, data specialist and test coordinator. 

      While not at work, I spend a lot of time with my dog Jem.  He is a puppy and requires a lot of my time.  I spent weekends out and about socializing him at the beach, stores and anywhere that will help him get used to sounds and people.
