I am excited about beginning the 2023-2024 school year as a second grade teacher at Coastal Elementary. This is my 29th year teaching, all of which have been in Onslow County. I am a product of Onslow County Schools, specifically the Dixon schools. I started Kindergarten at Dixon and also graduated from Dixon High School. After teaching at Dixon Elementary for 21 years, I was excited to start a new journey at Coastal Elementary when it opened in 2021.  I have taught First and Second grades during my teaching career. I am married and live in Holly Ridge with my husband, Jeff. I have three children. My oldest child, Gregory, works for the University of New Hampshire. My middle child Matthew has gained his heavenly angel wings.  My youngest child, Madison, works as a pharmacy tech at Realo. I am excited about becoming a MIMI for the first time this October.
