Mrs. Nora Sanders

Hi! I'm Mrs. Nora and I am thrilled to begin another year at Coastal Elementary! I will be beginning my 3rd year as Media Specialist. I enjoyed 20 years at Dixon Elementary, serving as their Treasurer for the first 10 years and the Data Manager for the remaining 10.

I am a product of the Dixon schools, as were my parents and grandparents! I LOVE our community and look forward to another year of research projects, STEM projects, and of course instilling the love of reading! I have been married for 22 years and have two children, 13 and 7. We also have several fur-babies; 2 Boston Terriers, a rescued cat, a rescued sugar glider, and three goats!  We love our critters!! We love to go camping, enjoy family time, and try out new restaurants (foodies!).  

As the Media Specialist, I will be able to interact with the entire student body and I hope to encourage the LOVE of reading!  Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader!
